We are now looking for an embedded software developer to join our team!

Electrification is a cornerstone of Scania’s commitment to Science Based Targets. The Electrification Management System is the glue that keeps all of the new cutting edge EV systems and component together. This system handles thermal management, auxiliary VCB components, and charging control.

Here at Charging Controls, we are working with the vehicle-side charging functions in the application software. A high-performance, adaptable and reliable charging experience is important to our customers. It is strategically important for Scania to be able to meet and exceed our customer's expectations in this field.

What we are looking for

We are looking for somebody who is yearning to be part of the leading edge of innovation, with the experience and confidence to make intuitive decisions in software development.

In order to excel at this role, you should have some combination of the following skills:

• Equivalent work experience and knowhow to an electrical engineer, a mechatronics engineer or a software engineer. Or of course a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any of these areas.
• Working knowledge of C/C++, Matlab/Simulink, and RTOS (real-time operating system)
• Experience in embedded software development for vehicle/powertrain applications
