About this opportunity

The organization within Business Unit Networks seeks to work closely with our customers, passionate about the delivery of virtualized RAN solutions. We are building a full stack virtualization of the 5G vCU (Virtual Central Unit) and vDU (Virtual Distributed Unit) based on COTS HW and cloud-native technologies.

We try to accelerate product development with new fresh thinking. We challenge established flow with new methodologies are active in the open-source communities and embrace a start-up mentality to deliver a product with great customer experience.

You will be part of E2E software development of microservices in a Cloud native Radio Access Network

What you will do

Are you Interested?Excellent! We are looking for a Software developer to join our vCU team.

  • Work with product and feature development delivering microservices for the Cloud RAN vCU product
  • Work with E2E software Development
  • Adapt to cloud native technology and principles
  • Prototype
  • Work collaboratively with customers to improve the product

You will bring

  • Experience working with Cloud Native core design principles (microservices, containers), pods is a great asset
  • Experience developing through the Cloud Native Development Pipeline principles and tools (CI/CD (DevOps), Jenkins, Spinnaker) is a great asset
  • 3-4 years’ work in Wireless & SW and/or Cloud Native product development
  • MSc or BSc level in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent level of knowledge
  • Programming skills in object-oriented programming languages such as C/C++. Other programming languages like Golang are highly valuable as well
  • Having shown an innovative behavior
  • Great communicating skills
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
  • A spirit of positiveness and creativeness with a can-do-attitude
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in English
