At Visit Group we are building the digital ecosystem for tourism. Our product portfolio consists of travel technology brands like Citybreak, BookVisit, iTicket and WebX. Our services range from booking systems and e-commerce to travel switches.

The Citybreak platform enables inbound tourism companies, such as Ski Resorts, Tour Operators and Destination Marketing Companies to sell, combine and distribute tourism products sourced from +100 external inventory platforms. Every day we work close to partners like Google, Expedia, Hotels.com, Booking.com, Facebook, TripAdvisor and many more.

At our office in Gothenburg you find a team of about 75 people with senior experience within the tourism industry. The team is characterized of energetic people who always try to reach out with a helping hand, and where close collaborations is a daily routine.

This position is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process is handled by Academic Work, but you will be employed directly with us at Visit Group.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a Backend Developer at Visit Group you will be part of a team consisting of about 20 people.. Your daily tasks will include building solutions for our web-based SaaS platform handling complex information. You will work closely with your team and be involved in all steps in the development process, from specification of new features, planning, backlog refinement, implementing your solutions and testing.

* Fundamental knowledge in Backend development, for example C# or Java
* Good knowledge in English in both speech and writing

The following is meritorious:

* A secondary education in technology or System Development
* Knowledge in API Integrations
* Previous experience of online payment
* Good knowledge in the Swedish language
