Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Our team is currently looking for a senior developer who is eager to join us in our exciting transformation journey and help us build the most competitive sales/order application.

Who are we and what are we actually doing?

Currently, we are developing a new order module in close collaboration within the sales team using AWS, .NET 6+, Rest API, GraphQL and micro frontend. We are also responsible for the order flow within the Sales Ecosystem. The Order flow tool (COW) is used by our salesmen all over the world. We also support the flow of our bodybuilders and the objective for the team is to enable the best premium order flow experience to shorten lead-time when buying a Scania Product.

We develop in a dynamic environment where we use different coding languages and libraries. Currently, our main challenge is to deliver the new order module and support the current order flow application. We are moving towards AWS, Kafka, specialized .NET core API´s and Angular at the same time delivering functionality to our end-users. Our teams are responsible for the complete development process, from analysis and architectural refinement to test and release. We like to build cool stuff together, have fun along the way and encourage an environment where it is fully acceptable to make mistakes, learn and try again. We strive to get better all the time by having an open mindset to new insights and learnings.

We believe the team member we are looking for is:

- A backend developer with more than 1 year of experience

- A person who enjoys working in an agile environment

- A person interested in constantly improving our product

- A person who is open to pair and mob programming

- A person who never do boring tasks, because you have automated them

- A person curious to learn new techniques and skills

- A team player that shares knowledge & ideas

In our team, we are passionate about building innovative and competitive products and we:

- Enjoy producing well-written and clean code with the best for our end-users in focus.

- Love technical challenges and build sustainable, high-quality solutions.

- Aim for automation first instead of spending hours on manual tasks.

- Are curious to learn new things that we can share within our team.

You would be a perfect match if you have experience of:

Must have: .NET, C#, SQL

Nice To have: .NET Framework, Angular, VB.NET, REST, Kubernetes, Kafka, AWS, Gitlab, Message queues or similar tools

We run code reviews, testing, and are moving towards continuous deployment infrastructure on AWS.

It is also an advantage, but not a prerequisite, that you have experience of microservices architecture, testing, devops.

Are you interested in joining our team? If so, we would love to hear from you!
