Overview
In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the SCA Linux and Unix environment. You will be part of an experienced and successful team composed of 9 members mainly based in Gothenburg.
To succeed in this position you have to display a good level of autonomy in the managed technologies, you should be service focused and be able to create relationships remotely with your team and with the others IT teams. You will participate in various projects and drive projects of your own. In this position, you will report to the Unix hosting IT manager.
Location is Gothenburg.

Main Tasks
Administer the Linux and Unix servers; install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and related software to ensure servers are installed and maintained to meet the SCA standards
Work to complete service requests and resolve incidents submitted through the ITSM tool
Provide day to day operational support and on-call rotations
Must be able to work nights and weekends during scheduled maintenance windows
Participate in existing projects, and drive projects within the team and with other SCA departments and external suppliers
Work with continuous improvements and new technologies related to the Linux and Unix environment

Key Competencies
Fluency in English

At least 3 years of experience and knowledge of:

Linux/Unix administration including scripting and advanced configuration and troubleshooting
Enterprise Linux distributions such as SLES and RHEL
Hosting services operations

The experience and knowledge of the following will be a plus:

Enterprise environments and larger international organizations
Cluster and virtualization technologies
At least one database (although not necessarily as a DBA)
Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
AIX or HP-UX
Project management
