Charging service are at the centre of Volvo Groups electrification and sustainability journey. We connect the customer’s electric vehicles, charging equipment and partners for public charging into service for the customer to manage charging as part of their daily transport operation. The service includes both user interfaces for customer as well as integrations with many other services across Volvo Group and with external partners.

The role

You will work in close cooperation with the Product owner, Service designer and Business analyst of the team, to analysis, design, create and enhance the services in this emerging exiting area. You will work as the DevOps team’s technical leader for the technical design and software delivery practices ensuring aspects like security, robustness, scalability, efficient CI/CD, identifying maintenance and enablers needs. You will be the team technical representative in contact and collaboration with other teams at Connected Solutions, across Volvo Group and with external partners.

Your profile

• A university degree in Computer science or similar
• Experience as Enterprise/Solution Architect in an international environment.
• Experience in developing and architecting with AWS Cloud Services (or similar).
• Experience in micro service architecture, Java ecosystem and web-based frontend development.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity concerns.
• Industry experience around logistics, electric vehicle charging, or electrical energy is not required but an advantage.
• Experience from agile development, DevOps practices and Continuous Deployment
• Capable to drive and lead a technical pre-study of an initiative.
• Strong customer focus and ability to manage many stakeholders.
• Ability to establish and maintain good relations with your internal and external partners.
• Be the technical leader for the team and drive improvements in the way of working and create structure.
• Great communication skills.
• Fluent in English - both written and spoken.
• Valid work-permit for Sweden, if not EU-citizen.

We work hybrid remote, combining days in the office with remote works as needed for the team and current work.
