Senior Full-Stack Java Developer for Financial Services IT  

Financial Services IT is a part of the Digital Core Department at IT and its responsibility is to provide sustainable IT solutions and innovative IT expertise within the Financial Services area, thus one of our group’s primary purposes is together with FS to harmonize the global IT landscape.  

 So what is the plan?   
We want to bring you and some other awesome new IT colleague to our new group to support the transformation of our high-performance agile teams that consist of architects, developers, service managers and some other stars that makes this constellation pretty special. The ultimate goal is of course to have happy users within all SFS communities who can use the power of software and data to make better decisions.   

Your role as a Full-stack developer  

• Deal with daily activities such as design, development, implementation, and testing of user-friendly and browser-based applications, and web services 
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system  
• Troubleshoot, debug and refactor existing systems  
• Cooperate with Project Management and Engineering teams  
• Take on new challenges and drive them to completion 
• Drive development for integrations between our different platforms  

Your profile  
We want our new teams to be autonomous and agile, therefore we expect you to be familiar with agile methods and thrive to work in an agile environment. To be a good fit, you should also be curious to learn new technologies and love to share your knowledge & ideas with others. As a person, you are excellent at communicating with different types of people. We believe you are self-confident and that you are not afraid to question us and the organization. You have the ability to lead and guide your colleagues in the right direction, you have deep and analytical problem-solving skills. Being a good communicator and working proactively are key in this role. You also have experience in;  

• setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AWS infrastructure, CI/CD, Kafka, automated testing, monitoring infrastructure  
• relational databases (Aurora PostgreSQL / MySQL / Microsoft SQL Server / Oracle)  
• building applications and maintaining legacy applications  
• Write well-designed codes and have good knowledge of code quality best practices and tools  
• previous experience in leading teams is merited  
• fluent in English both oral and writing
