We are looking for
A MuleSoft integration lead / architect with at least 5 years of experience of working with integrations, joining a newly established MuleSoft integration team integrating our Salesforce orgs with a variety of other systems and platforms.
You are a self-motivated professional who likes to drive topics taking responsibility.
Your typical tasks include
- Lead the work of maintaining a MuleSoft Center for Enablement (C4E), a cross-functional team, establishing best practices, promoting reusability and make sure all the teams are adhering to quality standards.
- Work using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio and API Manager to build, create, integrate, and deploy services, APIs, and other Mule applications to CloudHub that helps achieving business goals.
- Assess the impact of new requirements on MuleSoft, Salesforce, and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes
- Work in a team centric environment where a culture of innovation allows your input and ideas to become part of the solution.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver on a backlog of project and maintenance work.
- Develop plan for delivering on commitments, and then execute on those plans following agile methodologies.
- Facilitate, research, model, and define requirements, creating value for Volvo Group, Dealers, and Customers.
- Sharing of information and learnings, all while working in a fast-paced environment
About you - must have
- In depth knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, Event-driven Architecture, Message Broker technologies (MQ) and experience of building various kinds of integrations between MuleSoft and other platforms.
- Experience leading a team and taking responsibility in the planning of integrations using best practices.
- Experience with implementing API security patterns and frameworks.
- Experience with Policy, Logging, Auditing and Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in different geographies.
- Excellent written (Business & Technical), verbal and listening communication skills.
- Drive and desire to learn and grow both technical and functional skill sets.
- You are enthusiastic as a person and love a changing environment.
Education
- A Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering science, Information Technology, or other equivalent/related programs.
Good to have
- MuleSoft certifications; Platform Developer and/or Platform Architect.
- Experience working with Salesforce integrations
- Experience integrating with IBM MQ and SAP
- Proficiency in Java development
- Experience within other integration platforms, such as IBM API Connect
- Experience with Continuous Integration\Continuous Development tools like Azure Pipelines and Copado
