ANDROID DEVELOPER - Gothenburg

We are looking for and Android developer to work with our strategic partners to bring the best experience to users. You will play an important part in the growth of the company by building OS level mobile integrations.

What you'll do:

· Collaborate with a small, autonomous team of developers, designers, and product owners to find end-to-end solutions to important problems.

· Implement these solutions in the company's Android client and partner facing SDKs, adhering to Android development best practices.

· Support the engineering teams with building integrations using standard Android technology like Media Browser Service.

· Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code, identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

· Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code and help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

· Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

· Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

· Conceptualizing and formulating apps that are suitable for use on all types of Android devices.

· Collaborating with UI and UX Designers, as well as Software Testers, to ensure that each app is presentable and in perfect working order.

· Monitoring app reviews to detect areas for improvement.

Who you are:

· Degree in software development, computer science, or similar with proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or C++.

· Strong knowledge of modern Android development and experience with Android development tools.

· Ability to write readable, maintainable, performant object-oriented code in Kotlin and Java.

· Ideally you have some experience with Android Media Session and Media Browser Service.

· You care about quality, and you know what it means to ship high-quality code.
