System Developer - Diagnostics & Software Update

Connectivity at Scania is one of the key components in Scania's “driving the shift” strategy. At Connected Systems, we develop and operate Scanias IoT solutions. It spans from in-vehicle, via Telecom to the Scania back-end platform.

Connectivity in general is all about Data. Data in large volumes in a flexible and usable way is a key success factor for organisations that want to survive the digital shift. Scania today has over 600.000 (and counting) vehicles and other products connected online. We are looking for a new team member to help us drive the development of new connectivity solutions. What do we offer?
We offer you the possibility to be a part of a great team responsible for Scanias Software Update and Diagnostic Capabilities. The team provides services that ensure that the ECUs in Scanias Trucks, Buses and Industrial & Marine Engines can be updated using cutting edge technology.
The development team is also part of a bigger Value Creation Team (VCT), Diagnostics and Software Update, that support Scanias Production Units, Service Market and R&D with tools and services for diagnostics and software update. Since our VCT have many stakeholders, you will have the opportunity to learn and make connections with many different parts of Scania

Who you are
To succeed in this role you have a genuine passion for developing software that brings value to our users, as well as meeting the high demands of uptime and reliability. We think you prefer to work as a team and take joy when we succeed together.
You have some years of experience in .NET & C# development, and micro services deployed in a cloud architecture (AWS) that uses databases for storage. Experience in frontend development is also a plus.
You are curious and enjoy having variation in your work. You can work with fuzzy assignments that require networking and an exploratory approach. Fluency in English both written and speech is required, Swedish language is a plus.
We believe you have a university degree or equivalent
