Job description

Our client is looking for a software engineer who can define and maintain the product software architecture and be responsible for that we aim for the best result. We also expect you to write requirements to suppliers, be on top of technology evolution and continuously improve the product and our processes. Investigate and solve software problems that are close to the hardware, and work to optimize our products performance. You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve the goals.

Your focus is on software development and making sure our customers get the best possible products regards to functionality and quality.

Responsibilities

The Full-stack Software Developer will together with the team be responsible for implementing and deploying a complete SW stack, from sensor to pre-processing to ML networks to post-processing and sensor fusion, in target HW running in test vehicle. We use the latest tools and technologies available and collaborate with partners and other teams to deliver state-of-the-art software. The consultant will work within a cross functional agile team and focus on the development of the in-vehicle software and supporting systems needed.

Qualifications

BSc degree or higher in Software- and/or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
C++
Python for test automation
Linux
Agile framework/SAFe method - understanding or certification
Diagnostic and data analytics – automotive preferably
Experience in debugging low level platform problems
Experience in Continuous Integration with tools such as GIT/Gerrit

You as a person

Driven self-motivated person yet team-oriented
Technical mind-set with the strive to apply high level system knowledge on low level SW implementation
Ability to swiftly take on different development tasks in project phases like design, implementation, testing
Good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
Agile, Scrum and SAFe experience is meritorious
