YOU WILL

As a DevOps Engineer, you will join the DevOps center of competence team in Lund. You will work in a multi-culture and cross-functional setup and together with your colleagues lead the agile software integration activities for Bosch. We use several DevOps and Continuous Integration tools to implement the complex needs of our customers and internal research projects. We develop and maintain full continuous integration processes with automated source code management, builds, verification and deployment.

The main products that the Lund DevOps team are focusing on are automotive electronics, such as digital instrument clusters, main vehicle computers for autonomous driving, infotainment systems and future research projects in the AI field. Some of your assignments will be:

- analyzing DevOps requirements and designing solutions tailored for specific projects.
- implementing CI pipelines and Jenkins jobs and managing the configuration of these to adapt to project needs.
- supporting developers with integration related topics and reviewing code changes.
- performing maintenance and correcting bugs on running continuous integration tools.
- performing hands-on software integration activities such as triaging build failures, identifying affected teams, resolving merge conflicts, branching and rebasing using git.
- evolving the overall DevOps and CI strategies across multiple projects.

YOU ARE

We are looking for you who have a great interest in DevOps and software automation processes and at least a few years of hands-on experience of state-of-the-art source code management and continuous integration tools.

It is good if you have experience in different DevOps and Continuous Integration tools such as Git, Jenkins, Gerrit, Github, Gitlab, Azure, Artifactory, Splunk, Grafana and/or Bamboo as well as programming and scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, PowerShell and/or Bash. We expect you to have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Any experience from the automotive industry is appreciated.

As a person you have great analytical and communication skills. You are self-driven, take responsibility and like new challenges, especially when it comes to new DevOps tech. Your mindset is flexible, and you easily adapt to new circumstances. You are devoted to creating great software but also to do it while having fun with the team.
