As a senior R&D software architect engineer with Hitachi Energy in Ludvika or Vasteras, you will have an exciting and important position in our global organization. Here you will continuously meet new people and exciting challenges within an innovative and inspiring environment, while developing yourself and the organization.

Your responsibilities

• You are going to work on software architecture topics within MACH platform system architecture team
• Evaluate conceptual R&D activities, business needs and technology advancements from software point of view
• Being up to date with market trends within the software domain
• You will be handling RTOS (Real Time Operating Systems) roadmap within MACH platform
• Work with general system engineering activities within your domain
• You will be technical lead for implementation of software features in agile scrum teams
• As system architect you will support software development processes to improve quality and code security
• Living Hitachi Energy core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

Your background

• Required in-depth knowledge in Linux RTOS (Real Time Operating System)
• You are familiar working both in kernel and user-space
• You have in-depth knowledge in C, C++
• Expertise in hard real-time applications
• Good knowledge in MBSE (Model Based System Engineering) principles and sysML
• You are driven, with a curious mind to take up challenges that might require you to obtain knowledge or hands-on to be completed
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken, either fluent in Swedish or working towards Swedish learning.
