The Game Studio’s common goal is to stay ahead and always develop the best and most innovative games. Our teams consist of the most creative, passionate and talented in their guild. Are you one of us?

As Game Server Developer at our Game Studio you will be part of a self-propelled, agile team with Developers, Testers, Sound Designers and Animators. This position will give you the chance to join our journey of creating some of the most exciting games in the online casino industry. You’ll get the opportunity to learn new technologies and develop your skills while helping us achieve our goal of providing the best games on the market.

Innovation in our games is of high importance, this requires our developers to be able to come up with creative solutions to continue pushing the boundaries of online casino gaming.

What you will do here

Your main responsibility will be to create slot games with focus on server side game logic of the best online casino games available while your work tasks will be everything from planning cross functional stories with the team to developing new games.

We are searching for passionate Scala Engineers. We thrive in well-designed, scalable, systems which use modern functional programming based design approaches. We believe that the functional programming approach in Scala results in systems which are easier to build and maintain - we use modern, pragmatic approaches such as Tagless Final and libraries such as Cats and Cats Effect to achieve this.

To trive in the role we think you have experience in:

• Scala 3 functional programming skills and at least 1 year experience, especially with the following: Higher-kinded Types, Tagless Final, JSON/Circe, Https4s, Cats, Cats Effect 3
• Passion for our profession, in particular Scala and Functional Programming, and improving yourself technically.
• Have a Full Stack mindset, meaning that you are able and willing to move outside your comfort zone and learn and work with new technologies.
• Interest in the latest programming trends such as functional and reactive programming
• Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic approach to problem solving
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent.
