Job Summary

Fraudulent behavior in many types of online gaming is growing. We are looking for a tool creator that has a passion to keep a fair playing field for our poker ecology. In this position, you will work with our fantastic team of data scientists and poker fraud prevention analysts to catch the bad actors in the game and improve our bot-catching algorithms. You would have a chance to contribute to various data-related projects including our machine learning-based flagging systems.

Your profile

We are looking for a strong analytical mind that has relevant development experience and the technical ability to improve our current systems. Or perhaps you have experience in maintaining ready-built tools and have a strong desire to improve your technical skills? Either way, don’t be afraid to apply. You ideally enjoy gaming and find it interesting to understand underlying data patterns behind games.

Requirements

• Beginner-level understanding of Java, C, or C++
• Desire to learn and self-develop in technical areas
• Capable of understanding ready-built scripts in Python (Pandas)
• Experience with SQL
• Understanding of database management and data structures
• Good neck for finding patterns and trends in datasets

While it's important to have the technical skills mentioned above, the level of that can be offset by gaming experience, especially knowledge and interest in poker.

The role has both technical and operational elements: we are doing loads of other initiatives related to data and tools that you would be part of.

Life at Relax

This role is placed in Malmö, Sweden. The Relax game studio in Malmö is perfectly located on Lilla Torg, right in the middle of the beautiful old parts of the city. We span across 2 floors with a terrace and plenty of space to “relax”. A real home from home. The studio is a five-minute walk from the central station and all types of shopping and restaurants can be found right outside our doorstep.
