iOS Developer

We are on the lookout for an iOS Developer to join our Engineering team.

You will join a fully cross-functional team with backend, frontend, Android, iOS, and test competencies and collaborates with product, UX/UI, customer care, and more. You will use your deep understanding of the iOS platform to make the mobile experience the best it can possibly be and build a product revolutionizing the global car ownership model.

We use the latest tools and languages to build our app and deliver a great experience to our iOS users. Everyday, scalability is at the heart of our reflections for the Volvo On Demand product.

Your engagement here will include but won't be limited to:

You will join a team of passionate and fun colleagues and team up on the architecture, and development of our iOS application, using modern and proven technologies to create an app that will run on multiple devices. You will collaborate with product, UX and other engineering teams to deliver the highest quality mobile experiences to all of our supported devices. Our app is fully written in Swift.

A typical week is organized around our daily stand ups, demos, retros, frequent releases, mob programming and social activities. We value and allocate time for your learning experience.

You show experience with most of the following...

• Swift & SwiftUI
• Pull requests, code review
• Knowledge of MVVM application design and architecture
• You have extensive hands-on experience working as a Developer in an agile, cross-functional environment
• You enjoy well written and tested clean code and architecture

Extra awesome if you have...

• A wish to share your knowledge and learn from your colleagues
• Experience working with reactive programming (Combine, Async/Await & RxSwift)
• An interest to resolve mobility challenges and to work on an app which interacts with hardware and cars through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
