Embedded software developer to Flexlink AB

This is an opportunity within R&D where you will join Flexlinks embedded team. Together with the team you will work with high-tech coding solutions for their industrial customers worldwide. Are you ready?

YOU WILL

As an Embedded developer at FlexLink, you and your team of five will work with developing and integrate technology into smart embedded solution for FlexLinks unique material handling solutions. You will be able to work with some of the market leaders within the Pharma, Battery production and Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry and will be involved in the whole product development process, from technical specifications and requirements to end testing. The role is flexible so that you sometimes work close to the product and sometimes more in the background. FlexLinks technical environment is C and C++ and as a team they work closely together to reach the goals.

Your main tasks will be:

- Software development, both with new product development, adding new features, maintenance and problem solving.
- Use-case modeling and functional level requirements breakdown
- Designing and implementation of solutions
- Unit and integration testing
- Assisting first line support with analyze and problem solving in support cases
- Propose kaizen events to continuously find ways to improve

YOU ARE

FlexLink is looking for you who have an academic background within computer science, electronics or similar. You have a great technical interest and at least 3 years of experience from software development. You should have knowledge in, C or C++ and be comfortable with writing well designed and efficient code by using software development practices.

You should also have:

- Understanding of all stages of digital development
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Good understanding of hardware design and development

As a person you are a team player with a driven and positive attitude. You are responsible, analytical and have good problem-solving skills.

Experience with Python or Linux is meritorious, as well as experience in industrial automation.
