We are now looking for an experienced Java EE developer to join our System Management Products team within Information Systems.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Axis is a growing company in a global context, where the IT systems are the key tools when scaling the company. You will be working in a team that is responsible for our core services and integrations, developing and managing APIs used by other developers as well as our partners and end customers. The role involves working in the entire life cycle, i.e. development of new features, re-factorization and maintenance of existing code.

You will be part of an agile team that works closely with the product owner, who makes sure that planned and delivered work is in line with the business needs. As a team member you are expected to be active in discussions and meetings, and have the ability to cooperate. You will have great freedom to make a difference, both in the team and in your own personal development.

The organization you will join has begun a process of change, in which we evaluate our ways of working and try to standardize the development using frameworks and APIs. Historically, we have worked a lot in LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl / PHP), but recently we started work to standardize the development around Java EE in backend and AngularJS in frontend. We build our APIs in REST.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe that you have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in computer science or equivalent education. You are passionate about writing user-friendly code with clear architecture. Above all, you have a passion for web applications, with the technologies, frameworks and languages ??related to it. Working in agile teams is not new to you, whether it is in Scrum, Kanban or a combination of these.

You have:

5+ years of experience in Java EE development Knowledge in LAMP to be able to maintain our legacy Experience in REST architecture and implementation Experience in system integrations and knowledge in different integration platforms General web development skills in external and global web applications Understanding of solution architecture
Furthermore, we are looking for a highly motivated and outgoing colleague with good communication skills in both English and Swedish. As a person you are also curious, service-minded and humble. You are an analytical coder who takes pride in writing high quality code. You are also open-minded and love to learn new things.
