About this opportunity

Our sector, Product Integrity Services, provide Public Key Infrastructure management, Malware Scanning Services and Data Signing Services for Ericsson products across the company. For the services we provide, we have the full responsibility for the complete stack. This includes for example hardware installations, platform deployment, development, maintenance of services and finally, the operation of the same. We do this together with teams in Finland.

Due to growing need of integrity and authenticity, we need to strengthen our operation with another developer to join one of the XFT’s in Stockholm, Sweden.

We are hosted in a Product Engineering Unit called Engineering Environment & Experience (PEU EEE) which is one of the PEUs within Business Unit Networks (BNEW) - Integrated RAN Software Engineering.

What you will do

We are now looking for a Developer, who will take active part in the development and operations of one of our services.

You will work in an end-to-end team in Stockholm, Sweden which have the full responsibility for feature development, quality assurance activities, maintenance, release & deployment, and customer support.

We have a deep collaboration with our sister organization in Finland, so daily interaction with PIS teams in Finland is to be expected.

Your main responsibility will be:

  • Feature development, including QA activities.
  • Maintenance of the service.
  • CI monitoring, including troubleshooting.
  • Operational Support.
  • Drive continuous improvements of products and processes.
  • Be responsible for project documentation being accurate and informational.

You will bring

To be successful in this role, we believe most of the proficiencies below are needed:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in relevant technical field, or similar practical experience.
  • Some years of work experience within s/w development domain.
  • Experience of programming in Java and test automation, preferably using JCAT/TestNG.
  • Experience of Linux (preferably Red Hat) and good scripting skills (Python and Bash).
  • Experience using hypervisors and virtualization, such as VMware vSphere product family.
  • Experience of Continuous Integration & Deployment, preferably using Gitlab, and trouble shooting.
  • Team-collaboration skills. We believe you enjoy sharing knowledge and taking initiatives that will lead to team success.
  • A curious personality.
