Junior Android Developer

Role Description

We are looking for a junior developer with a passion for coding and technology to join our android team at amuse. We are looking for someone highly driven, good at solving problems, and with a keen interest in keeping up with the latest technologies. As a person, you always keep an open mind and actively seek to learn new things. In this role, you will be supported by a senior team where you will be able to learn and further develop your skills.

Responsibilities:

• Android application development, taking care of daily operations affecting artists throughout the world.
• Working together with our product team to create new features.

Qualities and skills you possess:

• Previous experience with mobile coding (hobby or otherwise).
• Previous experience with Kotlin, Kotlin coroutines is a plus.
• Experienced in REST and an understanding of HTTP requests.
• Version control with Git (Having personal pet projects hosted on GitHub that you can show is a plus).
• Previous work with any form of project management methodology.

A bonus if you also have some knowledge of:

• Jetpack Compose.
• Code GUI and design patterns.
• Reactive and functional programming.
• Object-oriented programming.
