Scrum Master with development or testing experience

Nexer R&D is growing and we are looking for our next Scrum Master to join our team of dedicated and supportive problem solvers! To us experience and an interest of agile software development with product development focus is key. Whatever language or technique you use to reach the goal is considered secondary. You will join a team where we develop and share knowledge within assignments that presents you with the cutting-edge technology. On top of that, we make sure to have fun along the way!

We are looking for someone who is interested in working as a Scrum Master and who thrives in a technology-oriented environment. As a Scrum Master you will have the chance to lead and coach your own team and develop work methodology and processes. You can either have a combined role as developer and Scrum Master, or a full-time Scrum Master role. You will help the team to develop, coach the team, participate in improvement work, communication and manage technical meetings.

Our customers can be found in all different types of product development companies and we work with everything from the latest telecom technology to connected and autonomous vehicles. You can both chose to work in a Nexer-team in-house or carry out your assignment at the customers office. Regardless of your preference you will get the opportunity to work with the latest technology and ensure continous development. You set the bar for how high you want to go - and we'll help you get there!

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is as interested in technology as in people. You have a background in software development or testing and have some form of leadership experience. You can either have been a Scrum Master before, but you can also be a developer who is comfortable with a new challenge where you get to develop and lead a team.

In summary, we believe that you are:

• Driven by getting a team to work, deliver and develop
• Humble regarding your own skills and cares about your colleagues, while taking responsibility and initiative to lead the team forward

And that you have:

• Knowledge of software development thanks to your background in e.g. development or testing
• Some form of leadership experience, it does not necessarily have to be in a Scrum Master role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar

Meritorious: 

• Experience in Automotive or Telecom
