What you will do

We're seeking people from a variety of backgrounds that can bring their unique selves and passion for technology in the following roles:

• Software Engineer with interest in signal processing
• Software Engineer with interest in Machine Learning and AI
• Test Engineer with interest in automation
• System Engineer with interest in research and simulations

You will join our development community, responsible for crafting 5G features and paving the way for evolving products into 6G. You will have a dynamic team collaborating in an international environment together with colleagues located in different parts of the world, including Canada, China and Sweden.

Your personal qualities are important for us, and we believe that you are curious, creative and adapt quickly to change. As part of NextGen we are seeking you who wish to explore your career with us and have less than 3 years of relevant experience.

With knowledge in some of these areas:

• Programming skills in some of the following: C, C++, Python, Matlab, Java
• Basic real time embedded systems
• Communications theory and signal processing
• Software test automation and integration
• AI and Machine Learning
• Mobile communication standards, e.g., 3GPP
• Cloud native development

In addition, we believe you have/are:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• Knowledge in the Agile process and willingness to work in an Agile organization
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Passion in development and system thinking with willingness to make a difference
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
