Backend developer who builds to automate (Hybrid office)

Prisjakt recently turned 20 years old and during these two decades we’ve gathered a plethora of products and environments that help support the service we provide, both for price comparing users and for the shops that partner with us. Our large user and customer base means that we have lots and lots of data and insights.

As a backend developer your main mission will be to build services that automate content creation and validate offers data. The services contain frontend as well that is used by the operations team to improve data quality with manual actions. We use state of the art tech stack and teams have autonomy in choosing their tools and ways of working.

To succeed in this role it’s important that you like to put different perspectives into account and cooperate with colleagues and stakeholders to get the best results. You strongly believe that the best solutions are the ones you find and build together - as a team.

What you will bring to the team:

- You are skilled in Scala (or in Java but wanna change to Scala)

- Good understanding of microservice architecture

- Knowledge of Kafka and Kubernetes

- Good with functional programming

- Your English is on point and a million bonus if you love fika.
