Do you want to help improve the sleep and health of millions of people worldwide? Sleep Cycle is the best-rated sleep tracker app on the market. Their Gothenburg office is expanding and we are looking for a Fullstack Developer to join their team.

About the position

You will join an experienced team of engineers and designers on a mission to help more people sleep better. They have a highly data driven approach and use experiments to drive progress and generate value.

We are looking for someone with strong communication and software development skills who thrive in a fast-paced agile environment. A person who is great at what they do but who also want to have fun at work, contributing with a positive attitude.

In this role you'll be working with a variety of technologies. The backend server provides APIs for mobile and web applications and is responsible for storing accounts and data. It is written in Python and hosted in Google Cloud. The backend is using a NoSQL database hosted in Firestore.

The platform for web development is a Javascript/React site which is used for pages where people can sign up and purchase Sleep Cycle. We are also integrating with some services like Amplitude, Leanplum, BigQuery to name a few.

Your profile

• 5 years of experience in a relevant engineering role
• Experience with backend and frontend development
• Experience working in a cloud-based infrastructure
• Experience working in cross-functional agile teams
• Being flexible and can change priorities in a fast-growing company
• Fluent in English

Good to have

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with Python and/or React
