About the role

The Software Engineering Lead is responsible for providing technical leadership for our backend platform. This is a hands-on and strategic role which works closely with product, design, engineering and regulatory to design, build and launch patient centric digital experiences. The successful candidate will manage a team to deliver innovative software solutions of high quality, used by our patients and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers
*

Ensure collaboration between several other engineering teams
*

Act as tech lead in the team
*

Hands-on contribution to software design and code

*

Leading the delivery of software solutions aligned to regulatory requirements, product roadmaps and goals

Essential for the role

*

8+ years hands-on experience as a software engineer
*

In-depth knowledge of building software backend solutions and platforms
*

Confirmed experience of leading people
*

Significant experience of using Agile approaches
*

Experience in modern Cloud Native applications
*

platforms

*

Regulatory knowledge, i.e GxP, SaMD validation or similar
