Backend Engineer

You will be responsible for the backend architecture and development, together with your team members and be an integral part in growing the team to take the Cake digital experience to the next level.

This role is based at our HQ in Stockholm and reports to the Head of Connectivity.

Your work will include and is not limited to

• Work together with the rest of the product organisation to define features
• Collaborate close with the design and UX team to secure the best possible customer experience
• Be responsible for the backend architecture and interface with related systems
• Contribute to the strategy for our digital experience and be an integral part of the process of building an industry leading team to support our mission
• Report and communicate progress outside project team as needed
• Contribute to and manage roadmap for our digital experience
• Define features and contribute to business development within the digital landscape

About you

• You have worked at least 5 years in a professional software development environment, or in a similar role at a product development organisation
• You have an engineering degree
• You have experience with the AWS cloud platform
• You are proficient with Git & DevOps
• If you have experience from the EV/Vehicle industry and an understanding of the technology it would be beneficial, but most importantly you have a deep understanding of cloud platforms, back-end technology, databases and apply an agile and structured way of working
