Our services are based on research, statistics and financial regulations, and combined with the user’s personal data, our services offer the user simulations and advice in interactive and self-service solutions.

Our Green Housing solution helps thousands of people to make a green transition to their homes. We are on a global mission - you will be an important part of the journey.

As Lead Software Architect you will be responsible for the technical delivery of the backend team, with a main focus on our Green housing product. The role offers a great opportunity to have a big impact on everything from system architecture to creative processes.

What you will be up to:

• Have technical responsibility and ownership, paving the way forward with the backend team.
• Have a crucial voice in technical choices and system architecture.
• Lead the team towards building the ecosystem and core of our product in a structured and systematic way.
• Prepare our product for scaling while securing a high level of security and ensuring that certain standards are being met.

Your profile

As Lead Software Architect you will be working in a fast paced startup, in the driver's seat of backend development, having the opportunity to influence our choices ahead.

Therefore we believe you have a senior development background and are an inspiring technical leader who communicates well with, and motivates others.

We further believe you:

• Have a university degree in Software Engineering or alike.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in software development.
• Love to learn new technologies.
• Have experience in .Net or Node.js - or/and that you have other suggestions which you believe would be beneficial for Econans.
• Have experiences in SaaS development.
• Can reason about complex software architectures, and understand the trade-offs, and the dynamics between its components.
• Are fluent in English or Swedish, verbal and written.
• If you have previous experience in startups or/and scaling products, it's a big plus.
