DB Schenker is searching for an experienced IT Integration specialist who will focus on application integration and technical projects. The role is within the Global IT Land & Digital Solutions department, which is an entity within the global IT-organization of DB Schenker. Together with the business unit Land develop and maintain existing application integrations to further improve the competitive advantages of DB Schenker and to support the central Land Transport Management Systems running in several countries on IBM iSeries platforms.

As an IT integration specialist, you will use your programming skills to develop and guide development-projects. You will work with application integration of core business IT systems for the Schenker Land Transport Business in Europe and design, develop and maintain existing and new integrations within the DB Schenker Enterprise IT landscape on iSeries/AS400 environments. You will also work with implementing and harmonizing workflows within current and new software towards Region Europe. Your squad functionally reports to the corporate head-office of Schenker AG in Germany and runs/manages core and common IT services for the business-units of Land Transport.

Your Tasks:

* Define requirements and consult process re-engineering in the business areas of the Land transport with main focus on the data exchange (e.g. different types of integrations like Customer, Partner or Financial Integrations)
* Identify and collect demands from business representatives and process owners and prioritize and categorize requests together with the business
* Define and align on functional requirements and recommendations within the business area/process group
* Conduct data-/process-analysis including evaluation feedback
* Develop solution drafts and project suggestions together with colleagues
* Present project suggestions in the Global IT Management Land & Global Digital Solutions Land-organization
* Provide regional application support (2nd/3rd-line) towards our countries in Europe
* Coordinate and steer maintenance- and development-workload with international external software suppliers

Your Profile:

We believe you can structure and work independently with a high degree of own responsibility. You are creative when it comes to design, build and support of a complex business IT environment and have an agile mind-set and team-spirit.

Requirements:

* University degree in a relevant subject (e.g. IT / Engineering)
* 5+ years business experience within the IT Software/Service industry
* AS400/iSeries Knowledge
* Enhanced programming skills in Cobol, C or other functional programming languages
* Knowledge of REST API/EDIFACT and XML
* SQL knowledge
* Swedish and English - fluent, written and spoken

It would be beneficial of you have experience in the Transport & Logistics Industry as well as an willingness for limited domestic and international travel.
