We are looking for a System engineer to work within our expert R&D teams in Uppsala, Sweden. This is an opportunity to combine your biochemistry/biotechnology expertise with our market leading software development.

What you’ll do

• Contribute to software development from a user perspective
• Deliver new software functionality and products to our UNICORN software ecosystem
• Identify and write user and system requirements
• Define and write verification test procedures
• Actively participate in planning the development work activities and execute verification and tests
• As part of a team, plan for and deliver on the team commitments
• Continuously improve our ways of working

Who you are

• Master’s degree from relevant Life Science discipline, e.g. Biochemistry or Molecular Biotechnology
• ÄKTA/UNICORN or general chromatography knowledge
• 3 years of industrial/academic experience from Life sciences or similar
• Enjoys working together with other competences such as software engineers, UX designers and test engineers
• Know how to prioritize and are able to take on complex challenges and situations
• Structured and thorough
• Swedish and English as working languages
• Valid work permit
