About your job

In this position, you bring together theory and practice to identify and communicate data-driven insights that allow users, managers, stakeholders and other executives in our organization to make more informed choices. You assign numerical values to important business functions so our performance can be assessed and compared over time. By enabling our Data Management capabilities, you ensure that we become a more data driven organization and that we benefit from sharing information with our users, suppliers and customers utilizing data as a strategic asset. Being our go to person and specialist in the matter, you coach and mentor your team members based on mutual agreement and are always there to lend a helping hand to make us become even better!

Other important parts of your mission:

• Advise the business users with regards to front-end tools and data visualizations and dashboards – which you design and implement.
• Evaluating processes and data structures to validate the feasibility of demanded solutions and contribute to the design of data models and reporting solutions.
• Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
• Take responsibility to maintain shared data as part of day-to-day execution of business processes.

The location for this position is either Västberga, Stockholm or Sandviken.

What you know – this is important

We’re looking for someone with a bachelors in IT or equivalent qualification combined with a couple of years previous experience from relevant roles. You’re an advanced user of Excel and can write SQL queries to study data sets. We also see that you need knowledge in either Python programming or statistical programming as well as experience from machine learning – the tools and concepts. If you also have experience in using different visualization software, it’s a plus. Working in a global environment calls for excellent skills in English, while knowledge in Swedish is beneficial.
