In Sweden they have a quickly growing Product Development Center of more than 60 engineers in Gothenburg and Linköping working closely together with Vectors larger development centers in Germany. To support the local customers, they have teams of around 25 product experts providing product deliveries and product support to customers in Scandinavia.

Tasks and responsibilities:

You will be a part of an agile team developing solutions for a high-performance computer in vehicles. You will work with product development in modern C++ and sometimes Java, creating components for a software platform. The development environment is Linux and software can be deployed on a POSIX based on operating systems. Furthermore, you will work with testing, follow different types of instructions and coding the highly automated software for the computers in the vehicles. The company have co-workers all around the world that they have contact with daily and therefore it is important that you feel confident to speak and write in English.

Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:

• Knowledge in C++
• Academic education in the field of computer science, engineering or system development
• Speaks and writes fluently in English
• A few years of working experience

Personal qualities are highly valued in this role and to thrive in the role you should have a big interested in development and be driven by constantly develop your technical skills. In the role, you work closely with your team therefore it is important that you enjoy working together with others. You have an open attitude towards other people and sees and value them. You always look out for the best interests of the group and are keen to create a good working climate where you support your colleagues.
