Cloud Architect/Solutions Architect (GCP)

Talent Management - Recruitment & Sourcing area is going through a transformation where we are moving from old to new technology within our solutions. At the same time, we are in the middle of implementing a new solution for our co-workers. We are handling various Integrations and data models with existing and new systems through Google Cloud Platform and co-worker facing applications. To help take us forward on this journey we are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect with the right mindset and skills who can help build robust Cloud integrations.

The scope of the consultant services is to assist in

1. We are looking for a Cloud architect with extensive knowledge in Cloud Architecture, designing data models/pipelines and ability to work on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

2. Able to design high-quality software and data architecture. Work in agile teams, contributing to the architecture, design and governance of products and solutions

3. Provide experience, and guide other team members, in how to utilize Data Architecture, Design and modelling tools and features out of the box to create cost efficient solutions

4. Apply and adhere to good practice software engineering practices - Domain Driven Design, SOLID principles, Architecture and design within an agile/iterative approach including validation and verification

5. Ensure good understanding of each Epics, Features, user stories and the expected outcome, asking for further detail when required

6. Contributing to the continuous development of architecture standards against which design, and coding should take place as well as exploring and bring in thought leadership to boost innovation and development productivity

7. Take benefit of the chosen cloud-solutions and design to fit cloud native and cloud agnostic solutions

8. Design secure solutions to handle sensitive Co-worker data

9. See the data as a product that is made available through various interfaces that can serve our consumers with the required data

Requirements:

Desired knowledge, experience, competence, skills etc

1. Cloud data architect with good understanding of data modelling, data catalogue, data warehousing and data engineering.

2. Good understanding of Integration Concepts

3. Experience in designing and architecting solutions using Google Cloud Platform Dataflow, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage Buckets and Cloud Functions.

4. Background in the Java/Python code development to perform code reviews.

5. Experience of GitHub and Terraform
