About the role

As an Azure Data Lead, you will get an opportunity to –

• Understand business & technical requirements, non-functional & security requirements
• Design and implement Azure based data solutions in Datalake cloud environment involving Devops and agile ways of working

You will be the key senior member of the Azure Datalake team who will work closely with client Architects, product owners, Data engineers and Devops engineers.

This role expects you to be T-shaped professional who will be responsible for the whole life cycle (i.e. Design, Development & implementation) according to development/test standards and corporate architecture policies including security and data privacy guidelines.

Our ideal candidate

• IT experience including Big Data and Azure covering – designing, building, testing and maintaining cloud applications & services in Datalake environment.
• You have hands on experience working with Azure DataBricks and Azure Data factory.
• Exposure to Azure Devops, Azure PowerShell and Azure CLI
• Knowledge and experience working in Python, Spark, relational SQL and NoSQL databases, Azure Functions, Azure Machin Learning
• Any exposure/experience in migration of on-prem big data datalake to Azure Cloud
