Your mission:

Come and join the (7-person) Development team in the IT Service of the Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL) and help us develop our in-house tools. You will have the chance to work on innovative projects using the latest technologies.

Your tasks As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to:
- Take an active part in the design and development of applications, tools and software using Java, NodeJS, Typescript and Angular.
- Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle from the first line of code pushed to Gitlab or Github to the production deployment on a Docker/Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Contribute to problem-solving and the continuous improvement of our applications, paying particular attention to the user experience and ergonomics.
- Collaborate with the development team in producing effective documentation and optimising deployment to production via the CI/CD cycle.
- Participate in open source projects, sometimes on a European scale, in collaboration with other research institutes outside France to make your contribution to the world of research.

Your profile:
- A passion for coding and a drive to learn new technologies.
- An active Github, Gitlab or Bitbucket profile with contributions to collaborative or personal projects.
- A Level 6 qualification (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
- A good command of written and spoken English.
- A strong commitment to user service and quality.
- You are a creative self-starter and are eager to share new technology with your team on a regular basis.
