In Linköping, we’re developing our camera systems. As a site, our responsibilities range from electronics and optics to software and vehicle testing. All vision development teams are working cross-functionally based on agile principles.

What You´ll Do and your responsibilities:
As a Senior Software Engineer you will be designing, developing and maintaining mainly low-level embedded software used for early board bring-up and at a later stage during manufacturing. You will work with programming on a hardware board fresh from manufacturing site, and write and prepare low level software and drivers to setup different functions on the board. This also includes to perform basic testing of the hardware functions and if this is successful approve the board for broad use by development teams.

Your input and contribution will have impact on new hardware release integration from development to manufacturing since there is also a focus on the software for production like flashing and Cyber security activation.

You´ll be part a of great team of 3-5 engineers, with seniority and supportive attitude, but also interact with Hardware designers, projects teams and production teams in our manufacturing site.

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have:

- Experience within the relevant areas

- Good skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written

- Experience within embedded software development

- Knowledge in electronics and hardware design

- Experience writing code in C and Python

- Experience in QNX/Linux or Git/Gerrit/GitLab it is meritorious

Education

- Bachelor's degree, or higher, within electronics, computer science or equivalent work experience
