About the role

As a part of our growing analytics team, you will take part in developing tomorrow's intelligent workforce management, enabling insights driven decision-making and having a significant impact on strategic initiatives. The mission is to turn our vast amounts of data into actionable insights across the organisation and guide the development of new features and models. The Head of Analytics will lead our analytics team, and work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to leverage data-driven insights to drive business growth. With our international presence, you will be an integral part of a company set out to enable our customers to create a happy business and a happy workforce.

Are you a data and analytics leader with a passion for driving analytics initiatives? Do you have a strong background in data engineering, data analysis, and data science, as well as technical proficiency in programming languages and tools? If so, we want you to lead our analytics team as our Head of Analytics.

What you’ll be doing

- Lead a team within data analysis, data engineering, and data science to deliver high-quality insights, analysis, and models that inform key business decisions

- Develop and drive the vision, strategy, and execution of the analytics function within the organisation

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven innovation and optimization

- Ensure the right technical capabilities, tools, and systems are in place to support the analytics efforts

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on analytics priorities and objectives

- Mentor and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to grow and deliver high-quality work

- Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices

What you’ll bring to the team

- MSc degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent quantitative field.

- 4+ years of experience managing data & analytics teams

- Strong leadership skills and a track record of leading by example

- Strong skill set and profound background in the data & analytics field spanning from data engineering, analysis to science.

- Technical proficiency in programming languages and tools such as Python, Spark, SQL, R, and data visualisation tools.

- Strategic mindset with great business acumen

- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

- Strong communication skills

- Experience working within the SaaS space
