Data Scientist

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join the Data, Analytics & BI department. As a member of the Analytics team you will work closely with the product/marketing teams to help them become truly data-driven. You will also support high impact business decisions by analyzing external and internal data and producing reports and visualizations.

On a day-to-day basis you will work with our digital marketing teams and support them with insights based on quantitative data generated by our users. You’ll function as the data specialist, proactively working with stakeholders to support business decisions and evangelizing a data-driven culture at Paradox.

Some of your key responsibilities are:

• Function as a specialist to our digital marketing teams, promoting data-driven development in our digital channels (web, email).
• Interprets and analyzes data using exploratory mathematic and statistical techniques based on the scientific method.
• Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development of dashboards in Tableau/GA.
• Design and interpret results of A/B tests to continuously improve conversion and retention.

To be able to do a good job we expect the following from you

• Experience working with business, digital or marketing analytics.
• M.Sc. or other higher education in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or similar.
• Experience of using web analytics tools, SQL as well as R/Python.

We will consider the following as a plus

• Experience from the gaming industry or with digital products
• A great passion and interest in gaming and Paradox games in particular.
