All about the role:

Digital HR is a cross-functional team within Group HR and Group IT responsible for the implementation, operation & support of Electrolux's global HR platforms and systems. The team plays a key role in driving globalization and continuous improvement of Electrolux's HR/People processes leveraging platforms such as Azure Cloud, Cornerstone, EdCast, Workday, DocuSign, PowerBI, Glint, and Phenom People.

Hence, we are now looking for a Data Engineer with experience in Azure Cloud to join the Digital HR team and help implement and continuously improve our data & analytics solutions for our HR organization.

Our Digital People Initiatives for 2022-2024 include the implementation of a new global People Data Management solution (Workday), implementation of a new People Experience Platform (EdCast) and building a connection to Global Data Platform. In preparation for the upcoming projects, we want to straighten the team even more. Therefore we are looking for a Data Engineer with extensive experience in Azure Cloud and PowerBi.

This role is for you if you are keen on designing, building, and improving solutions and you enjoy working in a diverse, global team.

What you'll do:

· Support the People Insights & Analytics team in delivering strategic data & analytics initiatives and the Integrations team in delivering high- and low-volume data integrations

· Work with Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts, Product Owners, Software Engineers, and other stakeholders across the business to define solutions. Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analytics Experts in building and optimizing our Analytics solutions, with a high focus on the backend architecture.

· Create and maintain optimal Data Pipeline architecture required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources (ETL/ELT pipelines, extraction from APIs, databases, sFTP, etc.).

· Develop and implement data engineering best practices while balancing availability, throughput, quality, and cost constraints

· Manage the security of our data to have it separated and secure from unauthorized access

· Create documents describing created data solutions

You will be responsible for staying up to date with the "latest and greatest" data technologies. Ensuring we are ahead of the curve, always looking for ways where technology can enhance employees' experiences.

Who you are:

· Deeply knowledgeable and passionate about data technologies, data architecture principles, crafting clean code and building reliable data pipelines

· Independent, self-motivated, structured with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize and communicate progress in a rapidly changing environment

· Pragmatic, with a great understanding of the trade-offs between the perfect solution and a working solution, and the importance of keeping the focus on end-user needs

· With a positive mindset and a can-do attitude, capable of seeing opportunity and potential in the encountered challenges

· Great at thinking out-of-the-box, proposing creative and innovative solutions, and driving them from the idea, through development to delivery

· Understanding the value of collaboration and partnership within a team

Qualifications:

· Experience in data architecture, data assets, data flow analysis, performance optimization

· Experienced in designing and building data flows for complex environments consisting of SaaS, Cloud, and on-premises solutions in a global environment.

· Experience with Data, Analytics & BI tools, and services - Microsoft Stack: Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure Databricks, SSIS, Azure Synapse, and Power BI

· Proficiency in Python and SQL language required; experience with C#, .NET Core considered a plus

· Experience in all phases of development, from gathering requirements, through systemization, development, quality assurance, release & delivery, and operations & maintenance

· Experience with agile software processes (Scrum, Kanban), data-driven development, reliability, and responsible experimentation

· Experience working in a global, diverse, multinational environment

· Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow is considered a plus

· Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are considered a plus
