Software engineer (GCP and Devops)

We are looking for software engineer having good exposure in GCP and DevOps mainly responsible for a REST and PubSub API exposing a customer view of item availability, to provide a consistent view across all channels and touch points.

The API have around 70 consumers where some of the most prominent ones are the product pages on the web and in the mobile apps, where it's behind both the availability view and the buy button. From the consumers they handle around 2000 req/sec to the API, and the consume up to 10000 msg/sec from source systems about various availability update.

The product has been in production for 3 years, is built on GCP serverless technologies and the main languages used are Go and Java.

The scope of the consultant services is to assist in following ways:-

The software engineer will primarily work with securing that the solution design fulfils the business requirements, implementation of the solution based on agreed design and running the solution (including being part of an on-call set-up).

Requirements desired knowledge, experience, competence, skills:-

- Strong knowledge in Go, Java and GCP. Accustomed to working in an agile/DevOps environment where engineers take full responsibility of features, from inception of idea to running it in production.
