We are looking for an Android Developer that wants to be a part of our Mobile Division, that builds and innovates our services. Here you will be working with our apps like Svea – banken för dig or Payd, but it could also be working on Svea App Wallet, which is a payment solution for customers within the restaurant, retail and more. About the role 💼

In this role, you will work with a self-organized team with iOS, Android, Backend, QA, and UI/UX professionals. As an Android Developer in our team, you will have the opportunity to be innovative and create beautiful, custom-made apps for our financial services and/or payment solutions. Here at Svea, we create a selection of apps that we nurture and continuously enhance to create the best possible long-term solutions. You will be involved in every phase of the development process; from the research and concept phase to user experience and implementation, to create tailor-made and scalable solutions to fulfill the needs of our customers. Your so-called daily work is:

• Close collaboration with your team members with test-driven development, unit-test, and test automation
• Implementing new features as well as experimenting with new tools and ways of working along the road.
• Ensure and ship the best possible code through clean code principles.
• Act as a true advisor within your expertise to product owners and other team members in devising technical solutions to business requirements

For the right person, it will be possible to take extra responsibility in the team; like participating in an upcoming project or taking on a leading role.

As a new member ⛹️‍♀️

You have finished the whole product life cycle several times, where you have been through some tough obstacles, levels and managed to pick up good technical skills and practical business sense. What keeps you going is your genuine interest in iOS and belief in its real potential, but also the way to unlock it with the use of test-driven and native development. As a character, you have a can-do attitude, love to handle tough problems, and have a natural ability to act as a spokesperson for Android-related matters. Furthermore, you value team efforts over your ego and you´re always up to challenge yourself and the people around you. Things you have obtained along the road are:

✔️ Few years of experience in Android development

✔️ Ability to write clean, testable code in Kotlin

✔️ A solid understanding of mobile app development and its design patterns

✔️ Good understanding and experience of test-driven development

✔️ Fluently in English, both speaking and writing

Extra points, If you have know-how regarding UI and UX development, and experience with continuous integration, automation, system architecture, and design....that’s what we call a jackpot! 🤩
