Technical Support Specialist to global investment organization

ABOUT THE POSITION:

In this role you will:

• Research, identify, diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to software and hardware issues
• Software and hardware administration such as account setup, user on- and off boarding, computer- and device management
• Prioritize and manage several open issues
• mprove the everyday experience of Tech by friction fighting for all our employees

JOB DUTIES:

As a Technical Support specialist you will be part of a great team that delivers first calls tech support as part of the global tech support team.

• Improve internal efficiency and user experience by constantly questioning the ways of working and chosen end user Tech solutions
• Spread, create and iterate on best practices
• Support on- and off boarding of new and departing employees
• Manage hardware procurement and device lifecycle

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 3+ years experience in a technical support role
• Experience with setup and configuration of end-users computer hardware, software and devices
• Experience problem-solving technologically complex issues
• Experience with supporting Tech cloud based infrastructure
• True service minded always ready to go the extra mile
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. This includes the ability to explain technical terminology to non-technical end users
• Experience working with cloud tools such as Google Workspace, Dropbox, Slack and Okta.
• Experience working with Windows, MacOS and iOS

As a person you are approachable with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You have great service and are solutions oriented with a "can do" attitude. You are a team player with strong social competence, straightforward and friendly, yet down to earth.

This is a consulting assignment meaning you will initially be employed by Friday with a chans to be permanenta employed by our client.
