We are currently looking for a Function Developer for our customer within the automotive industry of large vehicles in Gothenburg.

Work description
We are looking for a positive/pragmatic person with experience from function development designing control and/or diagnostic functionality. The team is responsible for designing and implementing high quality control and diagnostic functionality for the customer?s combustion engines in close cooperation with colleagues working with hardware design and calibration/optimization globally. You will be involved all the way from system design to software design/implementation to verification of the functionality. The implementation is mainly done in Matlab/SimuLink/TargetLink but also using C code.

Personal skills needed:
Master?s degree or similar with good understanding of control theory, model design and/or diagnostics. Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written is required as you will be working in a global environment. The work requires skills in both teamwork and individual work, autonomy and ability to work in a team is key. Relevant experiences from the automotive industry with designing and implementing functionality is a must. Experience from application/calibration work is a merit.
