Configuration Manager within Integration

Integration is a key part of H&M's IT environment and is the function that provides business systems the ability to exchange information. We serve all IT-divisions, as well as a few external partners with our integration platforms. For H&M´s business processes to work, it is important that the integrations and deliveries from our integration competence center are of high quality, and in this role you will very much contribute to this quest.

The ICC team consists of approx. 35 people in Stockholm and 30 developers and testers offshore. We are responsible for all systems integrations within H&M.

In your role as Configuration Manager you will install and troubleshoot integrations, and ensure that our test and development environments have the right configuration and versions. You collaborate with other Configuration Managers within the ICC, and work closely with test coordinators, Integration Developer Leads and Platform Specialists.

Our Configuration Managers have technology as primary focus. The role is versatile and you will spend more time on trouble shooting and problem solving than version handling.

Your responsibilities

The job of an H&M Configuration Manager comes with lots of responsibility and lots of fun. Your to do-list includes:

- Install and troubleshoot integrations
- Monitor and follow up the integration development
- Manage and plan the relationships and dependencies between different versions
- Create complex build scripts
- Communicate with various stakeholders
- Continuously improving our processes and way of working

Your skills

Just like everyone at H&M, we believe you are a social, open, communicative sales-minded and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism. And your skills include:

- Having worked with integration solutions, ideally built on Biztalk
- A genuine interest and curiosity for configuration management
- You have a developer background, and experience in XML, XSLT, C #, SQL server and SVN
- You are comfortable working with Agile methods such as Scrum or KANBAN
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and orally in Swedish and English

It is meriting if you have knowledge about IBM MQ, MSMQ and Visual Studio. Experience of working with distributed development teams is also an advantage.
