We are currently hiring for the position as Data Engineer to join our growing team in our office in central Stockholm.

About Formulate AB

Our mission is to help retailers make better, data-enabled decisions that save time, drive sustainable revenues, and (perhaps most importantly) reduce waste. We help campaign planners at bricks-and-mortar retailers (like Coop and 7-ELEVEN) and online retailers (like Mathem), to optimize their promotions. To do this most effectively, we’ve developed a solution that’s part analytics suite, part planning tool. We provide insights; we also make sure they’re actionable.

About the position

As Data Engineer at Formulate you'll be part of the core of what we are - without our Data science/engineering team - no Formulate. working as Data Engineer at Formulate you could expect tasks and challenges like:

• Design, build and test data models
• Contribute to building and enhancing our data infrastructure
• Testing ideas and hypotheses
• Support and collaborate with your team in order to optimize processes for collecting, testing, and governing data across the data stack

We would love to get in touch if you have

• B.Sc. or higher within engineering, statistics or similar
• Some real experience in a Data Engineering role
• You're comfortable in at least one of the following: Python, Go
• You have an understanding of how to maintain a modern data stack
• You have have a deep understanding of advanced data processing pipelines and
• repositories
• Experience with modern data engineering techniques
• Understanding of data modeling techniques and how to use them
