Tech Lead

Carasent is on an exciting journey within the e-health sector, and we need to strengthen our team with a Tech Lead who shares our vision of healthcare free from administration.

Your role

Your responsibility is to lead a cross-functional team in developing our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, Webdoc. Webdoc is a product that contributes to more efficient and safe healthcare, by enabling user-friendly workflows that save time for practitioners. You will have our Gothenburg office as your base and report to the Unit Manager.

As a Tech Lead, you are eager to solve our users’ problems by managing code complexity, which is essential for ensuring that the team can keep delivering value to our users in a safe and efficient way. You are responsible for the code quality and sustainable architecture and design and take the initiative to product improvements from both user’s perspective and a security perspective.

Since the safety and integrity of the patient are essential in developing our products, this should also be crucial to you.

Your Profile

We believe you have a couple of years’ work experience as a C#, Java, or PHP developer or of development in any other object-oriented language. You are interested in system architecture and familiar with concepts like coupling, cohesion, separation of concerns, and hexagonal architecture. And, of course, you write tests for your code. You probably have experience working with large and complex systems, and it’s good if you have contributed to modularizing a monolithic system. We expect you to have good communication skills in both Swedish and English.
