About the company
STMicroelectronics Silicon Carbide AB (Sweden) is ST’s competence centre in silicon carbide material technology. Silicon Carbide (SiC) is a wide-bandgap semiconductor enabling to produce more energy efficient electronics for fast-growing markets such as electrical vehicles.

We develop and industrialize technologies for crystal growth, wafering and epitaxy of SiC wafers to strengthen ST’s production ramp-up of SiC power devices. Our pilot-production is fully integrated in the international STMicroelectronics group and takes place with state-of-the-art equipment in a dedicated 2000m2 facility in Norrköping.

Job description
In this role you will resolving incidents reported by users by analysing and debugging business cases versus application behaviour in STMicroelectronics manufacturing software ecosystem. Designing, developing, and deploying reports and dashboards, and collecting and analysing user requirements. Handling application qualification and acceptance tests of new application releases or even new applications. You will be participating in the design of applications and working closely with STMicroelectronics IT application teams as well as participating in new solution definitions/POC (proof-of-concept). Writing and maintaining technical documentation.

As part of this role, you may have to travel, at the beginning to meet the remote team and to be fully trained by them on the specifics of STMicroelectronics Manufacturing Execution Systems and development methodologies and workflows. Further chances might be considered for more training and team alignment occasions.

The role might require to be on-call support to fix critical issues reported during non-business hours.

Your profile
We are looking for a person with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, information systems, or another quantitative field with 2-3 years of development experience. You have experience with modern cloud platforms and cloud computing. You’re fluent in English as the role entails working with engineers all over the world. You can work well with others and have a good team spirit since you will be working in teams with minimal supervision. You have good problem-solving skills and adapts quickly to new technologies and has a good mindset towards challenging situations.

Previous experience of a similar role is an asset and we also value knowledge of Unix, Linux and Windows Oss, unit testing and integration testing, CI/CD, git, workflow framework, Phyton, R, Perl/shell scripting, PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, web services
