Right now, we’re searching for an Fullstack Engineer within Automation & Tooling to our Stockholm office - are you ready to hit play on an exciting career change?

The role

As Viaplay is expanding into new markets and increase the number of users the importance of having good observability, monitoring and secure services is bigger than ever. The TOC Engineering team plays a key role in keeping the services up and running and making everyday life easier for Customer Service, Operations Agents and engineers by automating manual processes and designing necessary tooling. You will be an important member of an autonomous team with a broad area of responsibility and a current set up with smaller focus groups, Tooling & Automation, Observability and Security. We are right now in need of someone that can drive and mainly work with end-to-end development and engineering within Automation & Tooling. Eight skilled engineers and great team players with individual crafting specialties are running the show today and we need you to strengthen our team.

What we’re looking for

We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:

- Back-end development in NodeJS & Golang

- Front-end development, preferably with React and Vue

- Running services on AWS using containers and EC2, lambda functions,DynamoDB

- Experience using Docker

- Drawing architectural diagrams, writing guides and documentation

- Designing and implementing solutions end-to-end across teams

- Building dashboards, portals and frontend APIs

- Working with source code and binary repositories, building tools and
pipelines such as Git, GitHub Actions, I/CD and Artifactory

- Pair programming & giving and receiving code reviews

- A problem solver at heart who thrives in a collaborative environment.
We also believe that you are a communicative individual.

It’s a bonus if you have:

- Experience in working with Python

Experience in AWS Cloud Formation and/or Terraform

Experience in working with logs and metric systems, preferably
OpenTelemetry and Splunk
