Project Manager to work with core eye tracking technology

Do you want to be in charge of cross functional Tobii high tech projects, taking them through design, verification, certification all the way to production? This might be your chance!

Platform R&D is the engineering department in Tobii Tech developing innovative core platforms for internal and external customers. The platform consists of Tobii custom made cameras, active lighting and a fw/sw which are processing pictures on chip or host and calculating signals such as eye position and gaze coordinates. The department also work with making the eye tracking platforms to actual products, as well as helping customer integrating them in their own electronics.

Competences of R&D Platform are within project management, system engineering, QA, algorithms, digital design, optronics, embedded development and electrical and mechanical design.

As a Project Manager you will be a part of Tobii internal project management team.

The role and responsibilities

In this role, you will operate project plans, budget, risk mitigation and suppliers. You are of course responsible of daily follow up, communication with the teams and the internal and external clients, ensuring delivery as targeted. You will be with us in an exciting phase, when we really take eye tracking to the mass market. In this role, you will be in the highly involved in making that happen.

Your days will be filled with

• Agile project planning and product development.
• Project teams to up to 30 persons (software & platform engineers, industrialization and purchase).
• Risk management.

We are looking for someone who

• Has been working more than 4 years as a Project Manager in R&D projects from pre-study to production.
• Is highly interested in technical product design and taking young technology to new markets.
• Has a MSc degree or similar.

We find it to be a strong merit if you have been working in agile environments previously, ideally as Scrum Product Owner. It’s also a bonus if you have been working with consumer software products.
