How would your day look

As a Data Engineer consultant at Nexer Insight your focus is working on customer assignment solving their data challenges. As most consultancy companies would say, there is not a typical day, it depends on the project, but let’s try. We work in an agile-ish manner, having dailies with the team and working towards the project targets either in scrum settings or according to Kanban. The work includes problem solving, planning, architecting solutions, guiding the customers and you should also manage to get time to actually do some hands-on programming as well. You will also participate in Nexer Insight internal activities, such as team meetings, company meetings, developing our deliveries and maybe take an interview with our next new addition to the team.

If you have read this far, we are happy to inform you that we are looking for data engineers with a few years of experience. You might have worked with building data warehouses, setting up data lakes, spun up ETL-flows or creating innovative visualizations in Power BI.

Our data engineers focus on building modern cloud data platforms for our customers enabling data insights and data-driven decision-making. The technologies we use in our everyday work are Microsoft Azure, Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, Power BI, Python, data modelling, CI/CD and SQL.
