Data Talks is looking to expand its product team with a Lead Software Engineer to contribute to the development and adoption of its leading Sports Customer Data Platform. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will take a crucial role in defining and building the next chapters for the core of our cloud-based, SaaS software in a global team.

Are you our next hire?
As our new Lead Software Engineer, you will be working with Data Talks’ integration teams, a team of approximately 10 people, where you will help define the next steps of our strategy, database and integrations solutions and deliver best-in-class solutions to our wide customer base. You are a natural problem solver with an engineering mindset and the ambition to both deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional development of web app
- Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements and design
- Write high-quality, maintainable code and review the code of others
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security of the application
- Implement data management and processing solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of product and development process
- Mentor team members and foster their growth
- Follow customer-centric approach in solution ideation and construction
- Make technical contributions and oversee back-end, data, and infrastructure efforts
Requirements
- Experience in delivering back-end and data solutions in SaaS environment
- Strong skills in relational, non-relational, and streaming data tech
- Proficiency in C# and experience with Javascript, and Python
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, .NET (Blazor WASM), Kafka, Snowflake, AWS
- Aspirations to lead cross-functional teams and experience leading teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders
- Mentorship skills and willingness to share knowledge
- Located in Stockholm, Sweden or willing to relocate.
